In thinking about how close we are to Mardi Gras break, I got curious about how other cultures celebrate their national holidays:
In Spain there are public national holidays. Apart from these, each city/region has its own local holidays:
1st January - New Year’s day
6th January - Epiphany
14th April - Easter
1st May - Labor day
15th August - Asuncion de la Virgen
12th October - Spanish National Holiday
1st November - All Saints day
6th December - Constitution Day
8th December - Inmaculada Concepción
25th December - Christmas
