I just finisihed reading Mario Vargas Llosa's The Storyteller for class and was thinking about it. I remember it being mentioned in passing in one of our classes that the Peruvian author had much fame in the Latin American world for more than just his writing. I was curious about his political activities and career and decided to do a little online searching to find out more information about him.
