El Nino

Many people are familiar with the phenomenon, El Nino, but don't know it's causes or all of it's effects. I live on the West Coast, and we always attracted tropical fish during El Nino. Once I found a barracuda on the beach - after getting out of the water. It was not a good feeling. El Nino affects communities around the world, notably the coastal regions of Latin America.
