I thought Vaqueros closed shop not too long ago. But I haven't been down Prytania to check it out in a couple of months so maybe they've re-opened? Anyway, for good Salvadoran pupusas, I would add the West Bank restaurant "Divino Corazon" to the list.
M.H. Greeley - You found Superior Grill's food to be disappointing? I actually think it's pretty good -- at least for what it is. I'll admit that it's not exactly authentic Latin food, but I find it pretty tasty nonetheless. I haven't tried the Margaritas, so I'll have to give it a try sometime based on your recommendation.
