Museo del Oro
In our most recent culture section in Spanish class we talked about Colombia and I learned of the Museo del Oro (which means Museum of Gold for you non-Spanish speakers) which has the world's largest collection of gold and pre-colombian artifacts. I thought this might be of onterest to some of you so I found a website that has a brief description of the Museum, some gorgeous pictures of a few of the pieces, and (of course) museum hours...in case you're ever in the area and need something to do for an afternoon!
