U.S. Spying in Latin America

According to the Washington Post the U.S. Navy's most advanced submarine just returned from its first sailing. Suprisingly, or perhaps not, the submarine used its cutting-edge technology to monitor phone conversations in Latin America as part of the government's effort to combat terrorism. Supposedely the Bush Administration believes the tri-border area of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay is the next terrorist hot spot.
