Latin Pop Music

After spending the summer in rural Nicaragua in 2009, I became very interested in Central American and Latin pop music. Not only is the popular music in Central America very catchy, singing the lyrics has really helped me maintain my Spanish. I love that Spanish and Latin pop is becoming more popular and American pop artists are starting to sing in both spanish. We've all heard Shakira and Enrique Iglesias sing in both languages, but I was so excited to hear Beyonce blaring from the radio.
