6-Hour Workday in Venezuela

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez is hoping to institute a new 6-hour workday by the end of the year. If the Venezuelan government wants to move to a 6-hour day, it would be advisable to look into the results of a pilot called "Flexibility through 6-hour shifts". It was a EU-sponsored project in 1996-98 by the Finnish Government comprising 37 enterprises and institutions and 2500 people. Results were analysed by a team at the University of Jyväskylä, rated quite good. These might help in applying the scheme in Venezuela.
