Kerik withdraws from contracts in the Caribbean

Bernard Kerik, the former police commissioner of New York City and Bush's appointee to Homeland Security chief, has withdrawn from contracts to consult for Guyana and Trinidad due to legal trouble in the U.S. He was going to be the national security adviser of Guyana for a year and consult on security issues for Trinidad. According to the Associated Press, Kerik could be indicted for tax evasion, conspiracy to eavesdrop and providing false information.
