UN approves Declaration on Indigenous Rights

Nearly a month ago, the United Nations approved the "Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which will help protect some 370 million indigenous people in the world." This declaration recognizes the rights of indigenous people, such as the ownership of traditional lands and self-rule.
