Mexican Attorney General Arturo Chávez Chávez Resigns After Wikileak
Chávez is the second attorney general to resign under Calderón. His resignation reflects the growing influence of the media on politics. As the media becomes more technologically advanced, political figures must become increasingly aware of and accountable for their actions. This clearly has both positive and negative effects.
